Foundation Solidaridad is a civil society organization founded on 1969 with the aim of assisting people with disabilities (PWD) and achieving their social inclusion.

It has an extensive professional record of 45 years in comprenhensive rehabilitation for children, youth and adults with physical disabilities, and in the promotion of their rights through the articulation of policies and initiatives in the public and private sector, as well as peer civil society organizations.

The Foundation is oriented towards providing quality care in their products and services provided by the Neurorehabilitation Center – CERENIF, the Orthotic and Prosthetic Workshop – ANDAR, the Educational Program for Children with Disability – PENDIF and the Employment Inclusion Service for People with Physical Disabilities – SILDIF. All these management programas were created fron the identified needs of each and one people we attended.

As of today more than 20,000 families have been benefitted with Foundation´s services and its management programs. Currently 2,500 beneficiaries attend the Foundation in search of their social inclusion and are being benefitted with an interdisciplinary service that in just one place includes: physial and cognitive rehabilitation, emotional support, equipment, education, curriculum, adjustments, family training and counseling on accessibility and adjustments among others.

In the last 5 years, the development of the scientific department has been intensified. Mora than 3,000 professionals and students are trained in scientific updating activities on neurorehabilitation and contribute to the knouledge territorial expansion and the attention possibilities for PWD in the most deprived areas of the country.
